Robin Caminiti began her teaching profession over 20 years ago at a public high school, then pivoted to being a Supervising Teacher for homeschooling families to be home with her children. While spending time with those God-fearing families, she became convinced that schooling her own children was what the Lord was asking her to do. She has been educating her children for the past 14 years as well as being active for 10 years at a local classical Christian academy teaching Life Science, Physical Science, Research and Experimental Design, Biology, and Chemistry to students in 2nd through 12th grades. She is passionate about helping students develop a love for science as well as deepening their faith in their Creator. Mrs. Caminiti earned her B.S. in Biology from Westmont College and earned a California Teaching Credential in Biological Sciences. Her family would testify that the craft of teaching is truly her creative outlet. In addition to testing labs at the kitchen table, you can find her gardening, working in her yard, helping her husband direct theater performances, playing games with her family, skiing, or reading a great book. A few of the experiences she carries in her backpack of life are competing in and coaching gymnastics, working at a zoo, serving as a Young Life and youth group leader, teaching her kids to do back flips, running an after-school tutoring program, and serving at her church. Mrs. Caminiti recognized Jesus as her Savior in high school and was baptized with her husband in college. She seeks to honor God in all that she does. She lives in the beautiful foothills of Northern California with her amazing husband Steve and their incredible children Hannah, Caleb, Jason, and Isaiah.
