Michelle Langley has an educational and experience background that combines structure, organization, and creativity. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and then received her MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After 20 years in the corporate world, she left in order to provide the best possible learning environment for her four children, all of whom are adopted from Kazakhstan. Michelle helped to start a private school, worked as a teacher, and is currently homeschooling two of her children using a classical education model. She is very well-versed in assisting children with a variety of learning challenges and helping to develop a plan that will support them in meeting their goals. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her four children and her husband in Plano, Texas, just outside of Dallas. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, running, and always learning new things. Through her work with her own children as well as other students, Michelle understands firsthand the demands of high school and the college preparatory environment. She has assisted many students with college entrance exams including the SAT and ACT and college identification and entrance requirements. She also, from her years of previous experience, is intimately familiar with the needs of grammar school students and how this foundation relates to later achievement. She has chosen to work within the Veritas program because of her recognition of the value of its classical Christian-based educational model. She is excited to help students and families find the path and resources that they need to achieve success.
