A teacher at heart, Margaret graduated from Liberty University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences. She later obtained an M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning. She is married to Ben and is the mother of five active and inquisitive children whom she has classically home-educated since 2011. Additionally, she has taught Social Studies and English in both public and charter school settings. A Lynchburg, Virginia native, Margaret enjoys studying local history and architecture, and she has also had the privilege of living and traveling extensively abroad. Always looking to bring beauty and culture into her home and life, she enjoys the domestic arts, perusing classical book lists, reading aloud to her children, and hiking with her family in the Blue Ridge mountains. Grateful to the Lord for the many blessings He has bestowed on her life, she wants her students to know that learning is a lifelong pursuit by which we can glorify Him.
