Lorraine Dunn graduated with her degree in Social Studies Education from Millersville University in the fall of 2012, and is working towards her Master’s in Teaching and Learning from Wilmington University. She has taught both middle and high school in several urban public schools, as well as teaching at a classical Christian school. It was there that Lorraine met her husband, Matthew. Together they currently have three children—Lizzie, Suzzie, and Charlie—and they are all excited to meet the newest addition to the family this spring. While Lorraine was blessed to grow up in a Bible-believing Christian home and accepted Christ as her Savior at a very early age, her walk with the Lord became something she deeply depended on during her later teen years through several trials. She has been grateful to experience the faithfulness of God even when life’s circumstances were less than ideal in her early adult years. Now raising children of her own, Lorraine has discovered that there is not a day that goes by when she is not abundantly thankful for God’s grace in her life and for the ability to depend on her Savior through all of life’s unknowns. This is something she loves sharing with her students! When she is not teaching, Lorraine enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, volunteering at her local church, and playing or watching anything sports-related, especially if it involves a Philadelphia sports team. She looks forward to sharing her love of learning with her students!
