Leigh-Ann Reid has spent over a decade immersed in the world of classical Christian education—whether homeschooling her own children, leading and teaching in academic communities, or sharing her passion for learning with students across a myriad of subjects. She holds a B.S. in Biology from George Mason University and an M.A. in Classical Studies with a focus on pedagogy from Southeastern University. Leigh-Ann delights in connecting the God-given truths of science, literature, language, and history as a testimony to the unchanging, interwoven beauty of God’s design.
Her journey with Christ began as a struggling college student, caught in a desperate search for meaning, purpose, and worth. In that dark and questioning season, Jesus Christ met her personally with all three—and continues to pour out His grace 25 years later. Having met Jesus as a young student, she values the importance of finding and sharing the intimate relationship between knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, and how all learning relates to discipleship and worship.
Leigh-Ann loves to read by the water, have thoughtful conversations with warm people, eat great Mexican food, and walk her beautiful town of Annapolis (preferably with coffee in hand). She recently graduated her first child out of her family’s homeschool and into college, and continues to homeschool her younger two. She and her family enjoy living on the Yard of the United States Naval Academy, where her husband serves on the faculty.
