Krikor Mnatzaganian was born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel where he started his career teaching Mathematics to grades 7-12 while studying Mathematics at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. In 1990, he moved to the United States to study Theology and has since had a very diverse career, starting as an Associate Pastor and transitioning to Technical Consulting and Software Engineering. He is multilingual and passionate about putting God first, making a difference in people, education, and positive change. His love for Mathematics started in his late teens, mostly due to having two excellent teachers who challenged him to think and reason as opposed to memorizing formulas and procedures. The “why” became more important than the “what” and the “how” and through it he discovered the Greater Mind behind all creation. Very true to David’s words in Psalm 19:1, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” At age 17, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and that transformed him, his vision, and his focus in life. His life verse became: “For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain” (Phil. 1:21). Krikor lives in Indiana with his wife and family. He loves his five children and three grandsons and is passionate about nurturing them and being there for them every day. Krikor is an avid reader, reading an average of one book a week. He loves to play chess, fly drones, and is in the process of getting a private pilot license. What defines him most is his love for God, his family and teaching, whether at home, at church or at work.
