Kelda Massey attended Freed-Hardeman University where she received a B.A. in History with a minor in Biblical Studies. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction. She taught third grade for three years at a Christian school in Tennessee. She also worked at a public high school teaching history, government, and journalism. She and her husband, Greg, have been richly blessed with two beautiful sons. Because of her love for her sons, (and because she has a weakness for rescue animals) she also shares her home with two cats, one dog, and a hermit crab. Homeschooling, traveling, cooking, and reading great books keep her busy. Her mornings usually start with a nice cup of coffee and time in God’s Word. In addition to teaching for VSA, she loves teaching the kindergarten Bible class at her church and teaching a variety of classes in the local homeschool co-op. Kelda finds great joy in inspiring children to learn and leading them closer to God.
