Jack Klein lives just a stone’s throw from the Beartooth Mountains in Billings, MT - recently awarded “Best City in America” by Outdoor Magazine. Mr. Klein grew up there but left to teach HS math, science, and PE in Guam the Republic of Palau and Laurel, MT before embarking on a 23 year career as an Air Force officer navigating the KC-135 and teaching post graduate courses for the Air Force, Navy, Marines, Army, Coast Guard, Department of State. He’s an avid musician, athlete, and coach of several sports, currently serving as head coach of a local Christian School/Homeschool soccer team. He’s also coached baseball, volleyball, football, and speech/debate. But most importantly, he’s the delighted 31 year husband of Susan (also a VSA teacher) and father of 6, most of whom are college graduates or on their way. Two remain at home and study at VSA. He and Mrs. Klein are embarking on their 21st year of home schooling. Mr. Klein previously taught Pre-Calculus at VSA for 2 years before taking a year off to setup some businesses. At some point in the last 30 years he’s taught everything from General Science to Omnibus through countless homeschool coops and with his own kids. He’s eager for Christians to embrace the glory of God as illustrated in math and science. God speaks this language. He’s got a bachelor’s degree from Montana State University-Billings in Education with a major in mathematics and a minor in Physics. He also has a really cool “Air Warfare” master’s degree from American Military University.
