Jack Klein

Jack Klein

Jack Klein lives just a stone’s throw from the Beartooth Mountains in Billings, Montana - recently awarded “Best City in America'' by Outdoor Magazine. Mr. Klein grew up there but left to teach high school math, science, and Physical Education in Guam, the Republic of Palau and Laurel, Montana before embarking on a 23 year career as an Air Force officer navigating the KC-135 and teaching postgraduate courses for the Air Force, Navy, Marines, Army, Coast Guard, and Department of State, as well as many foreign military officers. He’s an avid musician, athlete, and coach of several sports, recently retiring as head coach of the local Homeschool soccer team. He’s also coached baseball, volleyball, football, and speech/debate. But most importantly, he’s the delighted husband of Susan since 1986 (also a VSA teacher) and father of 6, most of whom are college graduates or on their way. He and Mrs. Klein recently completed their own homeschooling journey after 26 years. Though he now focuses exclusively on geometry, Mr. Klein has also taught Physics, Pre-calculus, Physical Science, and General Science for VSA. Outside of VSA he's taught everything from General Science to Omnibus through countless homeschool coops and in his own home. He’s eager for Christians to embrace the glory of God as illustrated in math and science. God speaks this language! He earned a bachelor’s degree from Montana State University-Billings in Education with a major in mathematics and a minor in Physics. He also has a really cool “Air Warfare” master’s degree from American Military University.
