Dr. Greg Massey earned a Ph.D. in history from the University of South Carolina in 1992. Since 1993, he has taught history at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee. He loves introducing his students to principles of history that will help them navigate their futures. He also loves researching and writing, and has written or co-edited four books, including John Laurens and the American Revolution. He lives in Tennessee with his wife and fellow VSA teacher Kelda, their two sons, two cats, and one dog. He enjoys teaching Omnibus IV Primary, because it introduces students to Greco-Roman classics, whose authors grappled with timeless ethical issues.
