Elizabeth began homeschooling her oldest daughter in preschool and for several years ran a homeschool blog, Creative Learning Fun, where she shared her family's learning with others and helped families discover homeschooling. In 2015 she tried the Veritas Self-Paced courses for her blog, and the following year her family switched to Veritas Press entirely. Working for Veritas had long been a dream of hers, and in 2020 she joined the Veritas Press team.

As a family consultant, Elizabeth helps families discover Veritas curriculum and find what works best for their students and their family as a whole, including whether to enroll part-time or full-time in the diploma program. Knowing that every student has unique strengths and limitations, she helps each family choose the courses that will help their child excel.

Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Psychology from Argosy University, an M.S. in Psychology with an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Development and Educational Psychology from Capella University, and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University.

Elizabeth has two daughters: her older daughter is a VSA diploma student, and she is already looking forward to introducing her younger daughter to VSA. In her free time, she loves traveling, trying new restaurants, and painting.
