Dr. Stephanie Holmes has over 16 years of academic experience across various ages and settings. In 2024, she received her Ph.D. in Education: Instructional Design and Technology from Liberty University, stating that she was blessed to write her dissertation on the Christian Homeschooling perspective. In 2008, she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor's in elementary education. Then, in 2012, she graduated from East Carolina University with a master's degree in educational technology.
She and her family live in a small town south of Charlotte, North Carolina. As a third-generation family farm, they enjoy spending time with their animals (cows, goats, ducks, and chickens) and being in nature. With abundant farm animals and pets, there is never a dull moment.
Baptized at a young age, Stephanie has always played a role in teaching within her church and considers serving her church a privilege and a passion. Spending time leading children closer in their walk with Christ provides Stephanie with great joy!
Her husband is a combat veteran and currently works in law enforcement. Together, they have committed to homeschooling their 12-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son. As a strong advocate for home-based learning and virtual educational programs, Stephanie is thrilled to be a part of Veritas Scholars Academy!
