Dr. Jonathon Caudill
TeacherDr. Jonathan Caudill has always enjoyed teaching about living things. He began teaching in the biology lab as a graduate student at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. Afterward, he earned his medical degree and completed a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
He then completed a specialty fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, where he spent nearly two years in research and also served as an assistant professor in pediatrics. Throughout this time, he continued teaching and mentoring medical students and pediatric residents.
After many years in medicine, he followed a call into the counseling ministry and completed a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Westminster Theological Seminary. Dr. Caudill and his family live in northern Mississippi. They are active members of their local church and enjoy serving in the music ministry. In his spare time, Dr. Caudill also pursues woodworking, writing, the perfect cup of coffee, and generally all things related to guitars.
Dr. Caudill especially enjoys teaching Biology at Veritas Scholars Academy, where he and his students explore the wonders of God's living world.
