Devan Quandt is a vibrant and energetic educator raised in the small town of Lancaster, PA. She is entering her eighth year of professional teaching and began as a health educator and non-profit coordinator working with children and families all over the world. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Liberty University in 2012. During an internship, she sensed God calling her to teach the next generation, and in 2015 she became a credentialed teacher.
She is now pursuing her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at University of La Verne and expanding her repertoire. Devan has vast interests including creative arts, history, literature, and mathematics. She enjoys martial arts, holding a black belt in taekwondo, trail rides on horseback in the California mountains, hikes in National Parks, and loves to explore new places.
Devan was raised in a Christian family and accepted Christ into her heart when she was in Kindergarten. Since then, God has led her on many adventures all over the world including trips to the Congo, Ethiopia, and Mozambique. In college, she met her husband Ryan, and they have two daughters, Aliza and Eloise. She and her family worship at Christ Church of the Canyon in Wrightwood, CA.
