Crystal Eberle

Crystal Eberle

Crystal Eberle has enjoyed the role of educator for over 50 years! After developing skills and experience in children’s ministry and missions, she found joy in homeschooling her own children for eleven years. She has taught in classrooms in both public and private schools, with ten years in classical Christian education. On the side and during the summers, Mrs. Eberle has taught sewing classes, drama classes, and women’s Bible studies.

As the last of Mrs. Eberle’s own children grew up and headed to college, she finished her formal teaching degree through Washington State University and became licensed to teach in three western states. Her classical education training was gained on the job at Trinity Christian School, the only classical Christian school in Hawaii, where she taught third grade for four years before moving to Coram Deo Academy in Washington State for six more years.

Mrs. Eberle fills her time outside the classroom with choral singing, bridal sewing, traveling, hosting themed dinners, and directing children’s theater. She also loves fly fishing in the Pacific Northwest’s interior streams and rivers.

Mrs. Eberle was raised in a Christian home and was led to trust in Christ at an early age through the faithful lives of her family and friends. God’s gifting in the area of teaching became clear to her in her teens as she served alongside her parents in children’s ministry and short-term mission opportunities. She has found real joy in serving Jesus in every stage of life as she uses her gifts to teach others.

Mrs. Eberle and her scientist husband have been married since 1981 and have four grown children and three granddaughters. They love to serve together in their home church, participating in the choir and the outreach (missions) committee, as well as hosting monthly hymn sings at their home.
