Crissy Lodmell

Crissy Lodmell is excited to be teaching mathematics at Veritas Scholars Academy! Crissy graduated magna cum laude from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas, with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies, and she taught Saxon Math in a public school setting before marrying her husband John and moving to Los Angeles. After living on the West Coast for five years and having their first baby, they moved to the Dallas area, where they continued to grow their family. Now they have four children (Jack, Holly, Mitchell, and Charlotte) and live in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Her four children are all full-time students at VSA and have been classically educated at home and through VSA since Kindergarten. With four children taking more than twenty online classes, she knows how important organization and communication are to parents, and how important it is to keep children engaged in the classroom! Crissy and her family enjoy the outdoors, so naturally, camping and hiking are activities they enjoy together. Their family has two dogs and an ever-increasing number of chickens. Additionally, Crissy is always learning new things. She is currently taking tap classes and learning to knit (Hogwarts scarves, anyone?) and enjoys listening to audiobooks and all kinds of podcasts while doing so. She looks forward to partnering with you through live online classes at VSA and can’t wait to meet you in person at the End-of-Year Gathering!
