Carlos Ohn was born and raised in Yuma, Arizona. He studied English Literature and Classics at Georgetown University and received his Master of Arts in Teaching from the Johns Hopkins University School of Education in 2017. Carlos has been teaching for nine years, beginning in Howard County, Maryland, where he taught both fifth and third graders.
In 2019, Carlos came to Christ and has since sought to honor and glorify God in his life, including in his vocation as a teacher. He desires to instill a biblical worldview in his students and to teach them to honor God in every area of life.
In 2022, Carlos left public education to teach at Rockbridge Academy, a Classical Christian school, where he was free to share his faith with his students, teach them of Christ’s sovereignty over every subject, and help them know and love God from an early age.
In his free time, Carlos enjoys playing with his daughter, reading, hiking, camping, kayaking, and whittling. He resides in Maryland with his wife, Kimberly, and their daughter, Rowynn.
