Student Leadership at VSA

Student Leadership at VSA

Did you know that Veritas offers leadership opportunities to high school students in Self-Paced or live online courses? Students can apply to be a Moderator or Mentor, and full-time students are eligible for Student Government. They can also apply to lead prayer meetings, where they connect with Jesus and each other.

"A wonderful time to get to know Jesus and each other better has been through hosting prayer meetings for our fellow 10th graders. Something fun that has happened during the meeting is that the more involved members show up in costumes!
"There’s been more individual interaction for our peers this year! For prayer and devotional time, we introduced "highs and lows," where participants in the meeting can share a high or a low from their week, and it is something we can pray for! Many students are sharing and I've found many people relating to one another and having real connections by sharing what they're going through."
