In Literature 4 (our year-long class for 4th graders), students read the book The Tweny-One Balloons by William Pene du Bois. It is an imaginative story about Professor William Waterman Sherman, a man who, while flying across the Pacific Ocean in his hot air balloon, finds himself on the legendary island Krakatoa. One Veritas Scholars Academy student, Angela Ouyang, took her comprehension project a step further and created a video that showcases many of her classmates’ projects as well as a summary of the story. Angela Ouyang (Chinese name is 歐陽王紫, Wangzi Ouyang)is from China and moved from Shenzhen to Shanghai. She likes illustrating and creating videos on her iPad, as well as writing stories in her free time. Her favorite sports are badminton and basketball.
