Salome took Mr. Garfield’s Art Studio I class. She has continued to create charcoal drawings using the basic skills learned in his class. She loves animals and loves to read adventure books. These drawings were most inspired by combining her love of Wind in the Willows, The Green Ember series, the Narnia series, and her sister’s love of the Ashton Burials series. She isn’t sure if she will develop character stories to be told in her own book, or if this is just to be art for art’s sake. She hopes to take Art II in her Senior year.
