Prep time 20 minutes
Bake time 20-25 minutes
Makes 1 9x9 pan
Ingredients
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup neutral oil suitable for baking
2 cups granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
4 eggs
1 cup melted bittersweet chocolate
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup flour
10 ounces chopped milk chocolate
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the melted butter and oil together. Add sugar and mix, then add vanilla and salt. Mix in the eggs. Add the melted chocolate and just barely mix it in, then add cocoa powder and flour. Stir just until the flour and cocoa have disappeared into the mix, then add chopped chocolate.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes; there should be a bit of a wobble in the center when it’s ready. Enjoy!
