Nicole Marquez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Special Education from Western Governors University and has built a strong teaching background across multiple academic areas. She currently serves at First Baptist Academy in Universal City, Texas, where she reorganized and teaches the science curriculum for grades 6–8 and instructs 12th-grade Anatomy and Physiology. Her previous experience at Kaleo Academy and Beacon Co-op includes teaching literature, writing, logic and rhetoric, biology, and technology-enhanced courses. Nicole has also developed curricula, integrated educational technology into the classroom, and taught a range of subjects within Christian school and homeschool environments.
Nicole is deeply committed to classical education grounded in a Christian worldview, valuing its emphasis on the trivium, critical thinking, and the integration of faith across all disciplines. Known for her organized, creative, and student-focused approach, she enjoys designing engaging lessons that help students grow in both skill and understanding. Nicole has homeschooled in earlier seasons, used Veritas Press curriculum with her own family, and remains dedicated to supporting students and families through thoughtful, faith-aligned instruction. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and cooking.
