Mrs. Katie White has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Northwest Nazarene University. She taught fifth grade for three years at a classical Christian school in Idaho, where she taught composition, math, history, literature, and science.
Katie enjoys walking her dog, baking, traveling, and playing ice hockey. She has been a Christian for as long as she can remember, from attending Vacation Bible School as a child to participating in summer mission trips during high school, and now co-leading a women's Bible study at her church. God has always been a part of her life, but the last twenty years have been especially formative in her relationship with Christ. Establishing a daily habit of reading her Bible and praying has helped her rely more fully on God.
Katie has been married for nearly 18 years and has four children—three boys and one girl.
