Aaron Day seeks to awaken wonder in God's Word and world through literature and history. He also ventures to think God's thoughts after Him alongside students and colleagues by seeking Christ through the Scriptures and theological reflection.
Before moving to Kansas City, he grew up in southern Louisiana. It was there that the Lord saved him, and it was there that he fell in love with reading and writing as the means by which to express love for God, people, and the world.
In 2016, he moved to Lynchburg, VA to attend Liberty University. His senior year was completed through online study while he worked at his home church in Louisiana. He graduated in the spring of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Religion and Music. In 2019, he moved to Kansas City to complete a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2022. He is currently working on a Master of Theology in Christian Pedagogy at Midwestern.
Aaron is basically a hobbit. He enjoys a warm fire, good breakfast, meditative evenings, insightful conversation, and some adventure. Aaron’s greatest joy is spending time with his church family and friends talking about all facets of life.
Through the years, he has written on many subjects: book, film, and album reviews, pens and pencils, and journaling. To an even greater degree, he writes on theology, the church’s history, and biblical spirituality.
