Sara attended a classical, Christian school in Georgia that used Veritas curriculum from K-12th. After teaching middle school and high school in a public school setting, Covid changed the direction of her career. She was hired as a homeschool assistant for a Veritas family, and was reintroduced to the curriculum she had grown up using as a student. Sara was immediately reminded of how challenging and thorough the curriculum is, and decided that as an educator sh needed to promote curriculum that worked and provided great results. Sara has been heavily involved in ESL teaching since 2015. She have traveled to Japan and China in order to teach English. She teaches online classes to immigrants on a weekly basis. Her experience teaching people of various ages, learning challenges, and English proficiency influences how she approaches education. Sara established her university's first competitive women's ultimate frisbee club, but now likes to play casually for fun. She likes to spend time outside with her rescue dog, Lucky. And if it's football season, Sara can be found cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and/or watching whatever SEC game is on t.v.
