Annie Shyne has been a professional certified educator for over sixteen years. She has taught subjects like Spanish, Latin, French, Robotics, Coding, and Math, and has designed and implemented curricula at all grade levels. She initiated and coached a Lego League Team that won “Best Rookie Team” in its first year. She also started an after school STEM program, Key Club, Latin Club, and a Students for Soldiers club at her former school. Mrs. Shyne and her students have qualified for Florida Latin States where they placed in the top ten. She also designed an integrated curriculum for a Latin field trip to Rome, Pompeii, and the Vatican for her Latin II and Latin III students.
Annie has a Master of Arts in Classical Philosophy and Christian Culture from Knox Theological Seminary, and an MBA and BBA in International Finance from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
Annie is from a multi-cultural family with Spanish, Italian, and Native American heritage. She grew up in South America and Europe and has traveled extensively for missions and learning throughout South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She and her husband Jeff have three children. Annie loves reading, hiking, water skiing, knitting, painting, and other crafts. She expresses herself best through creative writing and loves learning languages. She attempts to see all things through a biblical lens and enjoys facilitating the learning process for her students and finding Biblical patterns in every aspect of life.
