Xiaodong Fan resides in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Millersville University with a M.Ed. in Reading and Language Arts and a M.Ed. in Technology Education. Passionate about bilingual Chinese-English teaching with over 20 years of experience at the elementary, middle school, high school and college levels with both domestic and international students, he enjoys creating a nurturing learning environment that prepares students for success socially, emotionally, spiritually, and academically. His experience includes collaborative teaching, virtual class teaching, tutoring, and 13 years’ experience in international field trips leading students to China to experience Chinese culture, language and student life in a Chinese family and a Chinese school. Currently, besides teaching Chinese language, he also serves as Principal of Ci Hui Chinese School at the Lancaster Chinese Bible Church. He enjoys art, music, playing instruments, sports, traveling, and chess.
