Virginia Yeager

Virginia Yeager

Ginny Yeager lives in the Northwest U.S. with her husband and their three dogs. They have two college-aged children—a daughter and a son—as well as a married daughter who, along with their son-in-law, has added two grandchildren to the family.

After graduating from Eastern Montana College with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, Ginny continued her education at the University of Idaho, earning a Master’s degree in Animal Science with a focus on mammalian reproductive physiology. She has spent most of her adult life teaching, beginning with tutoring chemistry during college, teaching science to homeschoolers since 1997, writing kit instructions for a homeschool science supply company, and educating her own children. For the past four years, she has taught science at an online school, covering subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, and Physical Science.

Ginny and her husband have homeschooled their three children from the beginning of their education, incorporating online schooling and private tutors along the way. They consider it a tremendous privilege to have been able to direct their children's education in a way that honors their Creator and gives Him glory, while allowing her to use her own education to further His Kingdom.

Among all the subjects that Ginny has taught and learned, science has been of highest importance, as through it there is a physical, tangible view of the majesty, power, and divine nature of the triune God, who authored all things. To God be the glory, great things He has done!
