Theresa Krebs

Theresa Krebs

Theresa Krebs attended George Mason University, where she earned undergraduate degrees in both Chemistry and Biology, with a specialization in Biotechnology. She went on to pursue postgraduate studies at Northwestern University and finished her work at the University of Virginia, earning a Master of Science in Microbiology and a Master of Education in Exercise Physiology. She has taught as a graduate assistant at the University of Virginia in both Nutrition and Microbiology, as an Adjunct Professor of Biology at John Tyler Community College, and as a teacher at local homeschool co-ops in both high school math and science. Sharing about God’s creation, watching students begin to grasp concepts, and witnessing their knowledge and appreciation of His mastery have been tremendous joys in her life. When she is not teaching science, Theresa spends more time teaching! She has been a certified group-exercise instructor for over 15 years and teaches three times a week at a local health club. She enjoys running, reading, cooking, and watching movies on Friday nights with her family. She currently lives in the Richmond, Virginia, area with her husband and their five children, who range in age from preschool to high school. In her youth she never imagined being a mother to five children, nor did she ever consider homeschooling as an option. Nevertheless, in 2007 she and her husband accepted God’s calling to home educate their children. They are truly grateful for the privilege and for yet another reminder that God's ways are so much higher than our own.
