Sarah Walker

Sarah Walker

Sarah Walker is passionate about teaching through the lens of a Biblical worldview, firmly believing that all truth is God’s truth. She approaches every subject with the conviction that Scripture provides the foundation for understanding the world around us. Her mission is to equip others to know God’s Word deeply so they can be a light in the world and reflect the love of Jesus in all they do.

Sarah’s love for teaching began early on. Growing up in Detroit, Michigan, she discovered this gift while working with inner-city children even before graduating high school. Influenced by the faithful mentors and educators God placed in her life, Sarah has continually sought opportunities to teach and communicate Biblical truth.

She was introduced to Biblical worldview education during her time at Moody Bible Institute, where she earned a B.A. in Elementary Education. She later completed an M.A. in Elementary Education, further deepening her commitment to Christian education. Her curiosity and love of learning extend beyond the classroom—she is a licensed Ham Radio operator (KEØMOM), builds websites, and enjoys gardening.

Sarah’s heart for ministry was sparked in childhood after meeting a missionary doctor from South Africa. That experience inspired a lasting passion for global missions, particularly among the Zulu people. She now serves on the board of Africa Christian Ministries and is preparing for a return trip to Esikhawini, South Africa, where she hopes to disciple and train local teachers.

Over the past 23 years, Sarah has taught in public, charter, and Christian schools, as well as at home, where she educated her four children using the Classical method. She holds elementary and middle school teaching certifications in South Dakota and Colorado. Though experienced in many educational settings, she is most excited to be back in the homeschool world.

Sarah and her husband, Ethan, live in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota near Mount Rushmore with their four children. Together, they manage a short-term rental home business. When she’s not teaching or traveling, Sarah enjoys lake days with her family, camping in their pop-up camper, or relaxing in a sunny hammock with a good fiction novel.
