Robyn Schultz is a passionate educator, a devoted mother of seven, and a lifelong learner of many different fields spanning the classroom, the church, and the hospital. With a deep love of service and children, Robyn has taught in a variety of settings, including public, private, and homeschool, for over 25 years. She has taught elementary school, English as a second language to non-native speakers online, led as the Children’s Ministry Director at various churches, and tutored students in reading, writing, and dyslexia therapy from kindergarten through high school. Robyn has also served children in their earliest moments as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and has also homeschooled her seven children along the way.
Robyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology from San Diego Christian College and a Master’s in Education from National University. She pursued and achieved a long-held dream by returning to school at Collin College School of Nursing and becoming a registered nurse – an achievement that demonstrates her compassion, resilience, and determination.
Her faith journey began in her early years, having grown up in a Christian home. At the young age of five, Robyn accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and has spent much of her life ministering to children and their families alongside her husband as a pastor’s wife. Her leadership in children’s ministry reflects her deep passion for creating a space where children can grow in their faith while feeling loved, seen, and supported.
In addition to her professional and ministry work, Robyn is an avid reader, writer, and lover of board games, theater, and travel. She is always up for a steaming hot cup of coffee and cherishes time spent with her family.
Located in Coeur D’Alene Idaho, Robyn shares her life with her husband Neil and their seven children. They have built a home full of faith, love, creativity, laughter, and learning. Whether at the dinner table, out adventuring to new places, exploring the greater Pacific Northwest, or enjoying a quiet evening together, family is at the heart of everything Robyn does. As a homeschooling mom, Robyn has had the privilege of walking alongside each of her children and watching their growth, creating long-lasting memories and strong bonds. She is excited to share her love for the Lord, Scripture, literature, writing, and life science with her VSA students this year and looks forward to helping shape their love for these pursuits as well.
