Michele Brown has always enjoyed exploring the created world, from observing chameleons to studying Newton’s laws. She has worked in education since graduating from Cedarville University with degrees in Biology and Secondary Science Education. Her teaching experience includes public schools in Washington, private schools, and homeschooling, giving her a broad perspective on how students learn and grow.
Michele was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and first came to faith in Christ at a backyard Bible club. God called her to missions at the age of twelve, and He later led her and her family to serve in Brazil, Mozambique, and now Costa Rica.
Michele lives on one of the volcanic mountains outside San José with her husband, four children, two dogs, and a cat. Her family is actively involved in a local international church. She enjoys hiking, reading, baking (and eating what she bakes), and challenging her kids to spirited games of Dutch Blitz.
