Malinda Harrell’s passion for teaching has spanned over twenty-five years, and includes teaching elementary and middle school children in many settings. From the earliest time Malinda believed being an educator was the best way to serve God. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Christian Education from Arizona Christian University. Later, she earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. Malinda’s favorite teaching position was classically educating her four children at home using VSA curriculum. Her favorites were IEW, Shurley English, and Literature. Currently, Malinda teaches reading at a local school, where she shares the love of Christ and helps young children learn to read. She also teaches English classes to online students living in China. When she is not teaching, Malinda enjoys running, reading, studying the Bible, and spending time with her family. She has four grown children, an amazing husband, and lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
