Lori Rogers graduated from Bryan College in 1984 with a BA in Psychology/Family and Marriage Counseling. She homeschooled her children until a local classical Christian school opened in 1995. For the last 20 years, she has been involved in that school in two primary roles: teaching and leadership. She taught second grade, history, writing, and Latin. In fact, she was the original Latin teacher for the school and instrumental in training other Latin teachers. Rumor has it she is in love with the so-called dead language! She is also in love with her husband of 31 years, Jim Rogers. They have three grown children and two grandchildren. The Rogers are smothered in blessings all around! Mrs. Rogers loves to learn, read and ponder many things. She also enjoys cooking, gardening, and big, booming thunderstorms displaying God’s awesome power. She believes classical Christian education is the perfect blend of mental training and spiritual nurturing for every child. She is pleased to join the Veritas online community in pursuing great education.
