Lilia Overmyer began her teaching career after completing her undergraduate degree and has primarily taught AP Government and history courses. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Pepperdine University and an M.A. in Government from Johns Hopkins University.
A Colorado native, Lilia enjoys spending time outdoors and is passionate about backpacking, hiking, camping, and backcountry skiing. When she is not outside, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and training her dogs.
Raised in a Christian home, Lilia has known the Lord from a young age and accepted Christ early in life. Leadership opportunities beginning in youth group empowered her to take ownership of her faith and the journey of pursuing Christ continues to be the most fulfilling and crucial part of her life. She lives with her fantastic husband, hunting dogs, and a new baby.
