Jamie Buse

Mrs. Jamie Buse has devoted the past 20 years to educating students in public, private, online, and homeschool settings. She has taught students from elementary through high school, homeschooled her three daughters for the past 14 years, and has served homeschooling families through Classical Conversations in a variety of leadership, mentoring, and tutoring roles. Jamie is passionate about cultivating wisdom, virtue, and a love of learning through a distinctly Christian and classical approach to education.

Jamie earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from Midwestern State University in 2006 and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Classical Education with an emphasis in English and Rhetoric.

Outside the classroom, Jamie enjoys exercising, attending Pilates class, teaching piano, reading historical fiction, spending time with her family, taking cruises, walking her Golden Doodle Hazel, and participating in the life of her local church.

Jamie came to faith in Christ at a young age and is grateful for God's continual work in her life. She desires to glorify Him by serving students and families with excellence, humility, and a love for truth.

Jamie and her husband live in Texas and have three daughters, all of whom have been homeschooled. Their family enjoys learning together, serving their church, and encouraging other homeschooling families.
