Gisel Hoglund

Gisel is a follower of Christ with a deep passion for classical Christian education. Years ago, when her family was called to homeschooling, she and her husband were confident that Veritas Scholars Academy (VSA) was the right fit. As both a parent and Academic Advisor, she has been continually impressed by the strength of the curriculum, the excellence of the faculty, and the richness of the VSA community.

Over the years, she has witnessed firsthand how the classical model—through the grammar, dialectic, and rhetoric stages—has shaped her children's minds, deepened their faith, and equipped them to engage the culture thoughtfully and courageously.

She holds a B.A. in International Relations and is a former Fulbright Scholar, having earned her M.A. in Political Science from New York University. Her professional experience includes work in both governmental and educational institutions.

It is her great joy and honor to walk alongside families in their homeschooling journey. She considers it a blessing to support and encourage parents as they seek to provide a Christ-centered education for their children.
