Gina Miller is thrilled to be teaching mathematics at Veritas Scholars Academy! Gina graduated from Bridgewater College with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Soon after marrying her husband, she taught various math classes to middle and high school students at a private Christian school in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She subsequently moved to Denver, Colorado where they were blessed with the birth of their first son. While living in the Rocky Mountains, Gina began teaching math to at-risk students at a local charter school and tutored homeschooled children in Saxon Math.
Another opportunity arose which allowed Gina and her family to move back east to New Hampshire, where they were blessed with the addition of their second son. After some years in the New England area, her family settled outside of Buffalo, New York where she began homeschooling her boys and partnering with other families who shared the same passion for classical education.
When Gina is not teaching or tutoring, she is helping rehab historic homes in South Buffalo. More importantly she finds great joy encouraging other women to study and grow in God’s Word.
Gina and her family enjoy playing board games (Settlers of Catan is a fav!) and traveling the globe, but their favorite place to be is with family at their lake house in New Hampshire. Gina enjoys reading children’s literature, restoring old furniture, and hosting friends in their home. She is enthusiastic about meeting her students and families through live online classes at VSA and is motivated to help showcase and illustrate the truth, goodness, and beauty of mathematics, which can be seen throughout God’s creation.
