Ethan Lafont began teaching in classical Christian environments in 2023. He earned a Bachelor of Science in History from the University of Mobile in 2020 and completed a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies at Redemption Seminary in 2026. Ethan is also a graduate of the Theopolis Fellows Program (2025) and works as an editor for the Theopolis Blog.
Ethan has served as a pastoral intern for more than three years and desires to enter pastoral ministry in the coming years. He enjoys studying biblical languages, modern theology, and biblical theology. When he is not studying or reading, Ethan enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and children, as well as playing guitar and singing. He also enjoys working out, having spent a brief time in college as a personal trainer.
Ethan was raised in a Christian home and has sought to pursue the Lord in faithfulness and spiritual maturity throughout his life. He married his wife, Shannon, in 2020, and they have two children, Ezra (b. 2021) and Eleanor (b. 2022).
