Esther Snodgrass grew up on a farm in the mountains of western Maryland where she was homeschooled and developed a curiosity about the way the world works and a love of learning. She graduated from Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, VA with a B.A. in Classical Liberal Arts and a focus in music. During her studies, she discovered the beauty of the Latin language and the classical model of education. Over the past few years she has taught Latin at two different classical Christian schools. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for this language with others and watching young minds expand as they learn it. She also has served as a private tutor and runs her own piano studio. Esther and her husband both serve in the youth and music ministries of their church, Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church in Norfolk, VA. Esther has a passion for hunter jumper riding and can often be found at the stable. When she is not there, she enjoys caring for her saltwater aquarium and many plants, crafting, reading, playing the piano, and doing almost any outdoor activity.
