Dr. Andrew Doyle has always been dedicated to the education of children and adolescents. Dr. Doyle earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and medical doctorate from The George Washington University, after which he completed a residency in Pediatrics with the U.S. Army. He spent the next twenty years serving in the Army as a general pediatrician as well as in multiple leadership and command positions. Upon retirement from the Army, he spent a short time practicing humanitarian medicine with Samaritan’s Purse.
Throughout his career, Dr. Doyle has taught countless students, residents, and other learners. He has led Sunday School classes, taught with homeschool groups, and helped homeschool his own children. When he is not working or teaching, Dr. Doyle might be at church singing in the praise band, working with youth, or serving as an elder. Otherwise, you most likely will find him in a theater somewhere either building sets, producing shows, or occasionally taking to the stage himself.
Dr. Doyle accepted Jesus as his savior the summer he graduated from high school, and since then has had a clear calling to minister to children and families. Dr. Doyle is now practicing pediatrics in Georgia where he lives with his wife, Heather, and their children – two alumni of Veritas Scholars Academy and a current student as well.
