Dr. Debora Schulze lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with her husband Jim and her son Adam, a VSA student. God has graciously blessed her with a lifetime of loving, believing, and professing Jesus Christ as her Savior. Her early interest in history, literature, and languages found its home in the classics program at the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a B.A. in Letters. She went on to earn an M.Ed. in Higher Education, also at OU, as well as a Ph.D. in Human Resource Education at Louisiana State University. After a 20-year career in higher education, she was thrilled to return to her first love, classical studies. Over the past several years, God has called her to the delightful task of teaching classical subjects, primarily Latin, to K-12 students. In her spare time, she enjoys stitching needlepoint, watching college football, and reading historical biographies. She is grateful to God for her wonderful family and the privilege of representing Christ within the framework of classical studies and methods.
