Courtney Johnson has been in education for over 20 years teaching in both public and private schools, as well as serving as a classical homeschool teacher. She earned her Bachelor’s in English Education from North Carolina State University in 2004 and will complete her Master’s in English Education in August of 2025.
Courtney enjoys spending time with her family, reading, walking, and vegetable gardening. She combined her love of writing and gardening for her website, The Kitchen Garten. Her walk with the Lord began in college through a Cru Bible study, and she is so thankful for the Lord’s leading in her life.
She and her husband, Bryan, are very involved in their local church, Grace Fellowship, where they both serve in youth ministry and as house church leaders. Courtney and her husband have been married for 20 years and have three children: Becton, Molly, and Whitaker.
