The pandemic of the coronavirus has impacted all of us in some form or another. While we remember you and the many Veritas families around the world impacted by COVID-19, we especially ask you to join us in prayer for one of our families—remember, they’re your family, too.
They are in Wuhan, China—the epicenter of the virus. One single parent there, a doctor, has been quarantined for more than 50 days during this illness while her 15-year-old student, who remains healthy, has had to fend for himself at home. Please join us in praying for them and continue to pray for all of us—we’re all affected in many ways.
We are especially grateful that our online format allows us to continue to fulfill our mutual mission. While many schools have closed their doors for this season, we continue to operate unabated. In fact, we have offered our online technology at our cost to more than 400 classical schools in an effort to serve them during a time when alternatives are needed.
As for our office, we have determined to operate from remote locations. For you, this means business as usual with what might be a slightly longer response time. Our service department will be answering calls, emails, etc. as usual, just from remote locations. Our warehouse will operate with a slightly reduced staff.
You are, as always, family to us here at Veritas Press. We will continue to keep each of you in our prayers, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside you as together we continue to fulfill our mission to Restore culture to Christ, one young heart and mind at a time. Feel free to reach out at any time, letting us know how we can serve you. We pray that God’s mercy and peace will be on you and that we will see this problem quickly disappear. Even so, we know this was not a surprise to God and that He is sovereign and always worthy of our trust.
