Rachel Rigdon studied violin with Christian Teal at the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University before switching gears and completing her bachelor’s degree in Literature and Philosophy at Western Kentucky University. After playing violin professionally for over a decade, Rachel decided to pursue a Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary English from Liberty University. Rachel and her husband have homeschooled their three teenagers since preschool, and she currently teaches high school composition and literature at the Bridge Academy outside of Richmond, VA. She loves to read old books, write essays, run marathons, and play violin with her string trio, Violevoce.
