Peter brings with him 16+ years of international experience serving as a science/math teacher, curriculum coordinator, head teacher, head of the counseling and guidance department, head of dialectic/rhetoric, academic director and head of school. In his years of educational experience, he’s always most enjoyed the connection with families and advising and guiding parents and their students as they make important academic decisions. He’s also spent the past few years in a Classical Christian co-op community working closely with parents and partnering with Veritas to provide high-quality education for families from all over the world. Classical Christian Education has been shown to help students learn internationally – across cultural and international borders.
Peter holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and a M.S.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Indiana University. He is a bilingual speaker of English-Mandarin Chinese. After working overseas for many years, Peter and his family have relocated back to upstate New York, and Peter desires to use his overseas academic counseling experience to continue to bring quality educational resources and provide guidance and counseling for VSA families across the globe to set and achieve their academic goals. Peter is thrilled to help guide families, both in the U.S. and internationally, make wise course decisions, and help families and their children in their academic endeavors.
