Linae Calkovsky has more than 15 years of teaching experience and has spent the last six years specifically at a classical Christian school teaching Great Books, Writing, and Shakespeare. She also loves homeschooling her daughter. Linae earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Biola University in 2001, with an emphasis in Screenwriting, and she has served in drama ministries as a writer, director, and acting coach. When she isn’t teaching, Linae enjoys reading, baking, playing the piano, watching movies, brushing her Scottish Highlander Cows, hunting rattlesnakes, and gardening. Linae grew up in a Christian home and knew Jesus was the Way, the Truth, and the Life from a young age, but it wasn’t until the year she graduated from Biola that she truly committed her life to Christ. This gave Linae a passion for instilling Truth in her students through rich, meaningful discussion in every class she teaches. Linae’s husband has a business in the cinema industry and they have one Logic-age daughter who, when she isn’t studying or collecting insects, loves to read with mom and count lens caps with dad.
