Diana D’Amico

Diana D’Amico

Diana D’Amico is a creative and innovative teacher who loves inspiring students to engage directly in their own learning. As a child, she was homeschooled where she was able to participate in a wide variety of educational opportunities. It was with an appreciation for hands-on experiences that she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in art education from Montclair State University and later a Master’s in educational leadership from Seton Hall University. After teaching in her home state of New Jersey for twelve years and establishing a family, she recently decided to pursue the classical model for her children and move to North Carolina.

Diana is blessed with a strong heritage of Christianity. She was very involved in her childhood church and chose to follow Jesus at a young age. Her faith has been strengthened in different seasons of life as a Sunday school teacher, Bible study leader, through personal discipleship programs, and as a church staff member. She uses her love of both teaching and art as a way to worship God and reflect his beauty.

Diana and her husband Drew have three young sons. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing water activities on their local lake, and of course, creating – with art supplies, ingredients in the kitchen, or various unique materials that come across their path.
