Cody King

Cody King has been a Classical Christian educator since 2008. He’s taught both in brick-and-mortar and online settings. He’s been privileged to teach Latin, Greek, Literature, History, Christian Studies, and Logic. Though Classical Education was once his full-time profession, Cody also now dedicates his time to pastoring in Kentucky. Cody graduated from Union University (TN) with a double major in Christian Studies and Philosophy. He then earned two graduate degrees from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (KY) – an M.Div., and a Th.M., the latter being primarily focused on Early Christian writers. Many of Cody’s hobbies are simply extensions of his vocation. He likes to read theology, biography, fiction, spiritual classics, pastoral theology, and old hymns. Cody also enjoys partnering with his wife, Lauren, coming alongside young Christian couples. Just for fun, Cody enjoys really long walks, watching strange movies, and belly-laughing with the family. He was introduced to Christ by older Christian friends and a faithful pastor at a church in Tallahassee, Florida, and confessed faith at the age of 15. Cody still rejoices at his Father’s continued patience toward him in Christ. Cody is blessed to call Lauren his wife, whom he married in 2014. He also rejoices in his daughter, Gwenyth, born in 2016, and his son, Ambrose, born in 2019.
