Omnibus VI Secondary includes works from and about the modern world and other important works. Discussions will direct students to look at ideas from a biblical worldview. The course naturally complements the primary books course or stands alone as a lighter work load than the primary course. Diploma students completing the course without the Primary Books will be given a credit in English: U.S., British and American Literature II. Students completing the Omnibus VI Primary and the Omnibus VI Secondary courses during the same year will be given three credits for the two courses--one each in History: U.S., British and Modern History II, Literature: U.S., British and Modern Literature II, Religion: Doctrine and Theology VI. Omnibus VI courses are recommended for 10th-12th grade students. This course is eligible for dual enrollment credit for junior and senior diploma students when both Primary and Secondary courses are taken in a 12-month period. Homework will average 10 - 12 hours per week, depending on reading speed.
