The VSA Math Club is going to Make Amazing Things Happen. In the mathematics club, we'll look at famous historical problems and how different fields of math helped to solve them! You will learn how to solve them too. We'll explore competitive-style math problems that are meant to be solved quickly. These problems will be from real competitions, like the Fermat Competition in Canada. Each club meeting will open in prayer, and then we'll look at a historical problem, why it became a problem, and how it was solved. Then, we'll take turns solving competition problems in smaller groups, and compare our various solutions.
1st and 3rd Tuesdays, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. ET
Exact schedule will be released in September. Club begins in October.
